OREANDA-NEWS.  June 03, 2014. The Bankruptcy Administrator of Snoras Bank has completed the sale of an exclusive apartment situated in Gaono street, in Vilnius Old Town, owned by the bank. This sold is the first apartment from three in the same building in the unique location of the capital. The 200 sq. m apartment had been lived by one of the main former shareholders of Snoras with his family until the withdrawal.

The sale price of the apartment amounts to several million Litas and exceeds the average market prices of analogous objects. The particular amount transferred into the bank account has not been specified since the sale of other two apartments is taking place.
              
“We are pleased that we have succeeded in finding the purchasers for the exclusive property that has been owned by the bank since sale of this property allows to recover substantial amount to the bank’s creditors”, Neil Cooper, Bankruptcy Administrator of Snoras, says. “The apartments offered for sale are high quality properties. We expect that other two apartments will find purchasers soon”.   

According to Ramune Askiniene, Director of Department of Consulting and Valuation of Colliers, the company implementing the sale of the real estate, apartments of Snoras are situated in the exclusive location of Vilnius, i.e. in the Old Town of the capital, in the small and quiet Gaono street.

“Excellent quality apartments in Vilnius Old Town are particularly appreciated and the most expensive. This real estate is available for a very limited number of potential purchasers; therefore we are pleased that we succeeded in selling this exclusive apartment in a relatively short time. Presently, barely few  proposals of a similar type  are on the market. This sale transaction shows that the Lithuanian market is capable of purchasing the property of the highest category”, Ramune Askiniene says.    

The sale of two remaining apartments, previously owned by Snoras, together with the parking places in the underground garage of the building by free sale will take place on 2 of June.
