OREANDA-NEWS. ORENAIR airlines, a partner of NOVOSIBIRSK International Airport, commences direct scheduled flight operations from Novosibirsk to Dusseldorf and Hannover (Germany).

Flights from Novosibirsk to Dusseldorf have been performed by ORENAIR airlines within summer traffic schedule, starting from 2012. Flight connection with Hannover to be resumed for the first time since 2012.

Commencing on 6th June, weekly flights to Dusseldorf will be operated each Friday. Departure time of Flight P2 887 from Novosibirsk to Dusseldorf is 08:45, the return Flight P2 888 - 12:10.

Flights to Hannover will be performed each Saturday starting from 7th June. Departure time of Flight P2 793 from Novosibirsk to Hannover is 11:15, the return Flight P2 794 - 03:00 (local time). Flights will be operated on Boeing 737-800 aircraft.

NOVOSIBIRSK International Airport is the largest air hub in Russia east of the Urals on major transit routes between Europe and Asia. The domestic terminal capacity makes up to 1,800 passengers per hour, while the capacity on international flights - up to 750 passengers per hour. The airport has two runways of ICAO CAT I and CAT II. In 2013 the passenger traffic exceeded 3.7 mln passengers and cargo traffic totalled 29.9 thousand tons of cargo and mail handled. In 2014 the airport expects to serve over 4.2 mln passengers and handle over 32 thousand tons of cargo and mail.
