OREANDA-NEWS. It is the case of Block VIII, transferred to the Belarusian-Venezuelan enterprise in March 2011. This and other areas of the joint enterprise are at the final stages of development. In order to stabilize the oil production level, it is required to carry out geological and engineering operation with the application of modern technologies, developed by the Belarusian party.

At Block VIII, located at Lake Maracaibo, the specialists of the Joint Enterprise already obtained high feed rate - 214 t per day - in 2012 at well number 100. Then, the Belarusians insisted on drilling, having submitted rationale to the Venezuelan Ministry of Oil. Fifty thousand tons has been already produced from the 100th well. The next, 103rd, was constructed eastwards according to the results of the “ancestress”. In May 2014, after its commission, the inflow of 309 tons per day of almost merchantable oil was obtained.

Such double success of the Belarusian specialists evidences a high scientific and technological level of the geological and engineering composition of the Belarusian-Venezuelan enterprise Petrolera BeloVenezolana, which was duly appreciated by the heads of the national oil company of Venezuela.
