“In April 2014, all three of our largest partners, United, Southwest and Frontier, showed an increase in connecting passengers and high load factors, and the Easter holiday falling in April contributed to record-setting April traffic,” said Kim Day, Chief Executive Officer of Denver International Airport. “International passenger traffic continued to trend strongly, up 24 percent from the same month last year. In April 2014, United's international traffic increased by 27 percent, Southwest's increased by nearly 47 percent and Frontier's increased by 21 percent compared to April 2013. We are on track for a very strong year at Denver International Airport with our peak summer season just around the corner.”
