OREANDA-NEWS. June 06, 2014. The state-owned postal service recently announced a re-branding to Omniva, and said it is unaffected by a US company by the same name.

The postal service has registered the trademark in Europe and will use the name only in the Baltics at first.

Eesti Post told Aripaev that Omniva.com, the base of the US company, which is building a intelligent calendar program, but is yet to market anything, was created in 1999, but the name of the US company is not Omniva.

The postal company said they did contact the US company before deciding on their new name, but received no answer.
