OREANDA-NEWS.   In 2014, a major federal state-owned bank celebrates its 15th anniversary in Khabarovsk. Over this period, the headcount at the Khabarovsk Branch of the Bank of Moscow almost quadrupled and 2 new sales outlets opened, with one more additional office to be opened in the Southern District of the city by the end of 2014.

Based on performance for five months of this year, the Khabarovsk Branch is the leader in the Bank of Moscow’s regional network. This was driven by an excellent performance of the new young vigorous team at the branch.

SME support is among the development priorities for the Bank of Moscow in the Khabarovsk Territory. Its SME loan portfolio totalled RUB 4.7 billion at the end of May 2014, up almost in 2.4 times since the beginning of 2013. The branch is among the leaders in SME services within the branch network of the Bank.

In total, corporate loan portfolio exceeded RUB 13 billion, representing more than a 7% share of the regional market. Last year, the Bank was building up actively its loan portfolio in the sector of municipal business and government contracts. This sector was driven by contract financing. This includes guarantees for bidding in tenders or performance of contracts, project financing, loans to replenish working capital. A project with Dalstroymekhanizatsiya OJSC (road construction and repair in the Far East) is an example of mutually beneficial cooperation. Thanks to the support offered by the Bank of Moscow, it can participate in numerous federal projects. The Bank also supports actively communal service development and road construction projects, as well as projects in other areas of social significance.

This year, the Khabarovsk Branch of the Bank of Moscow is going to take part in a programme to finance construction of gas boiler houses in municipal districts within the Khabarovsk Territory; construction of federal highways in the Khabarovsk Territory and the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia); and construction of new residential quarters, in particular houses and amenities, in Khabarovsk.

Support of small business in the region is worth special mentioning: to develop this direction the Bank entered into an agreement with the Guarantee Fund of the Khabarovsk Territory.

Bank’s KPIs in the retail sector are the following: as of the beginning of 2014, personal loan portfolio totalled RUB 2.3 billion and almost doubled over the year. Active salary card portfolio increased in 1.5 times. Personal deposits as of the beginning of 2014 amounted to RUB 858 million.

In the retail segment, year 2014 was declared the Year of Mortgage Lending. For this purpose, the Bank of Moscow sets up the Mortgage Lending Centre in the Khabarovsk Territory, which will make it possible to triple mortgage loans and gain strong positions in the regional market. Moreover, another additional retail office will be opened to make services convenient for those living in Khabarovsk.

The Khabarovsk Branch plays a major role in the life of the regional community; when entire Russia extended a helping hand to the Far East, the Bank did not stay indifferent and also contributed to help the flood victims. The Bank’s Branch is a member of the Board of Trustees of the Khabarovsk Social Service Centre.
