OREANDA-NEWS. Bradesco starts to operate its second floating branch in Solimoes river. The new boat will provide services to nearly 50 riparian communities and 11 municipalities, covering a stretch of approximately 1,600 km between Manaus and Tabatinga. The first floating branch started to provide services in 2009.

"Current boat makes two trips per month and is present in communities between 7 and 15 days. With the inauguration of Voyager V, Bradesco will be present in communities every 3 or 4 days", affirms Josu Augusto Pancini, Bradesco's Vice Chief Executive Officer.

Since the start of the floating agency's operations, more than 35,000 current and savings accounts were opened and 4.5 million banking transactions were made in the period.

Bradesco believes in the financial inclusion as a way to contribute to the low-income social classes' access to the financial system and to the credit also as a stimulus to the regional economies. The financial inclusion works based on a solid presence in the country, financial education actions and inclusive products and services.
