OREANDA-NEWS. QantasLink today announced it will deploy its larger, faster and quieter Q400 aircraft on all Sydney-Albury services, providing customers with a superior travel experience.

QantasLink will also put on three additional return flights per week from 22 June to 14 September, to meet the high demand during the ski season.

QantasLink Chief Executive Officer John Gissing said he was pleased to offer customers in Albury the superior Q400 product and experience on all services.

“I'm delighted to announce today that all services on the Albury-Sydney route will be upgraded to the 74-seat Q400 aircraft," said Mr Gissing.

“The Q400 will give customers a unique jet-like travel experience, through reduced travel times, a quieter cabin and increased comfort.

“It will be the largest and fastest aircraft to service the Albury-Sydney route, which we know is important for our business and leisure customers travelling between the two cities.

“We've also put on some additional flights between Albury and Sydney during the ski season to enable our customers to get to Falls Creek and Mount Hotham."

The upgrade to the 74-seat Q400 aircraft from the 50-seat Q300 aircraft will take effect from 17 August 2014.
