OREANDA-NEWS. St. Petersburg Tractor Plant (a subsidiary of Kirov Group) enters into a dealer agreement with Euro Broker (Poland) for the sale of Kirovets vehicles on the Eastern and Western European markets

Under the signed agreement, St. Petersburg Tractor Plant and its Polish partner are going to introduce Kirovets-brand agricultural and industrial vehicles to the European market. First of all, this involves К-744 Р2 and Р4 tractors, Premium modification, andalsoК-702 andК-3060 front-end loaders. Selling the Russian products, Euro Broker will focus primarily on European agricultural producers and road builders.

During the first phase, the parties will concentrate on homologation of the St. Petersburg enterprise's products and bringing their operation parameters into compliance with the requirements of EU directives and harmonized standards - for the purposes of subsequent certification of the vehicles. Once the CE Mark has been obtained and other compulsory procedures have been completed, the partners will proceed with the development of a system for the Russian tractors' servicing, as well as with promotion of the Kirovets brand on the European market.

The signing of the agreement between St. Petersburg Tractor Plant and the Polish company was preceded by an analysis of the European industrial & agricultural equipment market. Negotiations with potential customers were also conducted. Baltic farmers have been familiar with the Kirovets brand since Soviet times, when Kirovets tractors operated in the fields of most Eastern European countries. Moreover, the Russian producer's products still provide such advantages today as availability, ease of operation and repair, rapid time to value and better price/quality ratio as compared to Western counterparts.

Currently, St. Petersburg Tractor Plant and Euro Broker are working through details of project financing and promotion of the Kirovets brand on the European market. It is expected that once CE certificate is obtained, it will be possible to ship the first tractors to foreign customers as early as the Summer of 2014.
