OREANDA-NEWS. DIXY Group (RTS, MICEX: DIXY) - one of Russia's leading retailers of foods and everyday products - today announced retail revenue growth of 27.0% in Russian rubles in May 2014, and retail revenue growth of 21.3% in Russian rubles for the first five months of 2014.

For the first five months of 2014, DIXY Group retail revenue increased to RUR 87.0 bin (USD 2.5 bin) by 21.3% in RUR (6.3% in USD) year-on-year.

In May 2014, DIXY Group retail revenue increased to RUR 19.4 bln (USD 555.4 mln) by 27.0% in RUR (13.6% in USD) year-on-year.

Retail revenue of DIXY neighborhood stores increased to RUR 15.4 bln (USD 440.8 mln) by 31.0% in RUR (17.2% in USD) in May 2014 compared to May 2013.

Retail revenue of Victoria Division increased to RUR 2.5 bln (USD 72.2 mln) by 17.3% in RUR (4.9% in USD) year-on-year in May 2014.

Retail revenue from Victoria supermarkets amounted to RUR 2.0 bln (USD 57.7 mln), demonstrating 21.2% year-on-year growth in RUR (8.4% in USD) in May 2014.

Retail revenue from Victoria neighborhood stores amounted to RUR 424.7 mln (USD 12.2 mln) in May 2014 compared to RUR 416.1 mln (USD 13.3 mln) in May 2013.

Retail revenue from cash & carry store CASH amounted to RUR 82.7 mln (USD 2.4 mln) in May 2014 compared to RUR 72.5 mln (USD 2.3 mln) in May 2013.

Retail revenue of Megamart Division increased to RUR 1.5 bln (USD 42.4 mln) by 7.8% in RUR (decreased by 3.5% in USD) year-on-year in May 2014. The growth was driven by MegaMart compact hypermarkets retail revenue, which increased to RUR 1.2 bln (USD 33.7 mln) by 10.2% in RUR (decreased by 1.4% in USD). MiniMart stores retail revenue stood almost flat year-on-year at RUR 304.7 mln (USD 8.7 mln).

Starting from the 1st of November 2013, the opening hours of a major part of DIXY stores were reduced, in the course of stores' working time optimization. As a result, the time of operation of these DIXY stores was 6% less in May 2014 compared to May 2013.
