OREANDA-NEWS. The “Day of Partners” at Maltsovsky Portlandcement enterprise, a member of EUROCEMENT group, was attended by over 20 representatives of the construction industry in the Moscow, Bryansk, Smolensk, and Orel regions.

The event began with a tour of the main production stages of the plant. The guests examined:

The company's quarry, which produces high-quality raw materials for cement production. These reserves explored by the guests will ensure Maltsovsky Portlandcement raw materials for more than 40 years ahead;

The clinker burning division, which is equipped with rotary kilns where the raw material is calcined at a temperature of 1,450 C, undergoes a series of physical and chemical changes, and becomes a Portlandcement clinker (semi-finished cement production).

The Quality control department and laboratory are equipped with modern equipment, allowing the fast return of test results in real time, which provides the opportunity to correct the process for the production of high quality products.

The shipment and packaging of cement workshop, which allows consumers to save time when loading through the use of modern packaging and weighing equipment.

"Our company produces a wide range of cements that meet all regulatory requirements: CEM I 42.5 N, CEM II / A-S 42.5 N, CEM II / A-M (S-P) 42.5 N, CEM II / A-M (S-P) 32.5 B and PC 500-D0-N. CEM II / A-S 42.5 N cement is packed in three-layer paper bags of 50 kg. CEM I 42.5 N cement is packed into 1,000 kg Big-Bag soft containers. Bulk and bagged cement is shipped by rail and road (in holding cement trucks and client vehicles),” said Nikolay Karyakin at the meeting.

Particular attention was paid by the head of the company to the high quality products of the plant, confirmed by awards. Product quality control is carried out at all stages of production using modern laboratory equipment. The company's products have repeatedly won the highest awards for quality, and the company holds a Passport for enterprise quality. In order to ensure the release of products that meet the requirements and expectations of customers, since 2002 the company's quality management system meets the requirements of ISO 9001.

Also Quality control department and Lab Chief Svetlana Andriyanova and Senior Engineer for Quality Management Service Margarita Morozova gave presentations to consumers. They informed consumers about the new direction of the plant's Quality control department and laboratory, which enables consumers to select the optimal raw mixtures for concrete production and the development of checklists for specific objects. This system allows holding consumers to prepare recipes with the selection of additional components (gravel, sand, etc.) to produce concrete of the quality needed for a particular load (house-building plant, concrete plant, etc.).
