OREANDA-NEWS. June 19, 2014. A ceremony was held to celebrate the opening of the Chechen branch of Sviaz-Bank (Vnesheconombank Group) in Grozny, the republic’s capital city.

The event was attended by Olga Oleinik, Vice Chair of Sviaz-Bank’s Management Board, Isa Tamayev, Vice Chairman of the Chechen Republic’s National Bank, Ismail Yusupov, Manager of Sviaz-Bank’s Chechen branch, Arsan Demelkhanov, Director of Vnesheconombank’s Representative Office in Pyatigorsk, Stavropol Territory, executives of municipal and federal authorities, and representatives of the Chechen Republic’s business and cultural elites.

Sviaz-Bank’s 52nd regional office, the Chechen branch is situated in a high-rise building of the business center in the Grozny City complex at 3/25 A.A.Kadyrov Avenue, Leninsky District, Grozny.

From the start, the branch will focus on transactions with individuals who will be offered a broad range of financial services and products, such as accepting deposits, issuing loans, and performing cash transactions in foreign exchange. Sviaz-Bank’s regional office in Chechnya is also ready to offer a long line of deposit and cash transactions to legal entities and self-employed entrepreneurs.

Olga Oleinik, Vice Chair of Sviaz-Bank’s Management Board, had this to say about the Bank’s operations in the region: “Sviaz-Bank has been active in the North Caucasus Federal District for over 21 years. The Chechen branch is Sviaz-Bank’s sixth regional representative office in the Caucasus, after Dagestan, Kabardino-Balkaria, Karachaevo-Circassia, North Ossetia, and Stavropol Territory.
