OREANDA-NEWS. E4 Group carried out the construction and commissioning of the facility.

In June 2, 2014 a combined cycle power plant of 230 MW was launched at Izhevskaya TPP-1. The solemn ceremony was attended by Vyacheslav Kravchenko, Deputy Minister of Energy, Victor Savelyev, acting as Chairman of the Government of the Udmurt Republic, Boris Weinziecher, General Director of JSC “IES”, and Andrey Malyshev, President of JSC “E4 Group”.

The EPC contractor for the facility construction was E4 Group.

Construction and launching of the power plant is a part of large-scale investment program by IES Holding, which provides for the commissioning of over 3.2 GW of new capacity. The scope of project investments is about 10.3 bln rubles. By commissioning the combined cycle plant, total output of the plant will reach 290 MW.

Currently, E4 Group is working on a number of modernization and refurbishment projects in the country, i.e.: construction of 420 MW CCPP at Serovskaya GRES; design engineering and construction of 420 MW CCPP at Cherepovetskaya GRES; reconstruction of boiler house no.3 at Zhodinskaya TPP with the construction of 65 MW CCPP; “turn-key” construction of power unit no.4 of 800 MW at Permskaya GRES. Total capacity of the projects implemented for the last 3 years is over 1200 MW.

Work program of E4 Group includes 4 projects from 65 MW to 800 MW, which are to be accomplished by the year 2017. Total order portfolio of the Group is about 160 bln rubles.

Andrey Malyshev, President of E4 Group:

Through the construction of a development facility at Izhevskaya TPP-1 E4 Group has yet again demonstrated its highly professional engineering level. Implementation of the project in the conditions of a continuously working TPP and in restrained spaces of a densely built-up area, as well as the necessity to carry out a big package of works to comply with up-to-date environment norms made the EPC contractor to apply the most modern industrial engineering technologies. Owning to our strong design team and high engineering competences we coped with the set task within the certain deadlines. We hope for our further partnership with IES.
