The document sees that the amendment and completion of the customs and fiscal codes. The bill’s authors have said that the introduction of import electronic declaration would help considerably shorten the time period and cut the financial expenses for economic agents.

Thus, the importers will be able to fill in the customs declaration from any computer. To do this, the economic agent is to have the digital signature.

According to the Customs Service, over 320,000 import customs declarations are lodged annually. The procedure of electronic declaration of goods for import was launched in late 2013.
