OREANDA-NEWS. The third and final seminar of Metalloinvest's Entrepreneurial Education programme took place in Stary Oskol; the seminar involved 30 teachers from schools in the region. All attendees received certificates from the Russian Academy of Professional Education.

Entrepreneurial Education is an additional component of the School of Communal Good's social programme, implemented in towns where Metalloinvest has a business presence. The project began in March 2014 and was aimed at educating teachers on developing projects in line with new educational standards. Representatives of the Stary Oskol town administration, OEMK, and School of Communal Good programme co-ordinators from Stary Oskol and Gubkin had a roundtable discussion highlighting the success of the seminars.

Natalia Zubareva, Stary Oskol town administration Deputy Head of Social Development, commented: “The Entrepreneurial Education project is aimed at training teaching staff who work full-time with children and help them to form leadership qualities. Current traditional education does not include the study of social project development. We are very grateful to Metalloinvest for its systemic work in this area. Developing professional qualities is a very sensible approach. The project is fantastic and it is important that it worked out well.”
