OREANDA-NEWS. June 25, 2014. Sberbank of Russia has reported an increase in the interest rates on deposits and savings certificates in Russian rubles for individuals.

The interest rates on deposits held in rubles for a period of at least 6 months that are opened remotely with the help of "Sberbank Online", through the mobile application "Sberbank Online", as well as ATMs and POS terminals of Sberbank ("Save Online", "Refill Online" "Manage Online") will rise by 0.25 percentage points. Thus, the interest rates in ruble for deposits online for a period exceeding six months will exceed by 0,5% per annum the rates for similar deposits of the basic product line ("Save", "Refill", "Manage") that can be opened at the bank branches.

On savings certificates interest rates are increase as follows:

for the period from 181 to 730 days and the amount starting from 50 thousand rubles - up to 1 percentage point;

for the period from 731 to 1094 days, and the amount starting from 8 million - up to 1.15 percentage points;

for the period from 1095 days and the amount starting from 50 thousand rubles - up to 1.2 percentage points.
