The launch of Soyuz-2.1b carrier rocket with Fregat TOS and Glonass-M No. 55 navigation satellite and the subsequent flight tests of the spacecraft have been insured by SOGAZ OJSC and Ingosstrakh Insurance Company. The corresponding coinsurance agreement was signed between the two Russian insurance companies and JSC “Academician M.F. Reshetnev “Information Satellite Systems“ (JSC "ISS").

Glonass-M No. 55 Spacecraft is insured for the launch period, leading out to the target orbit, and flight tests. The coinsurance contract with JSC "ISS" was concluded by Ingosstrakh Insurance Company and OJSC SOGAZ on a parity basis and covers the risks of total loss.
