OREANDA-NEWS. LLC Ingosstrakh Life Insurance Company has announced the rate of return for 2013 on insurance contracts that include a provision on the participation of the policy owner in the investment income of the insurer.

The investment income at the end of 2013 amounted to 6.5% for contracts of life insurance and pension insurance denominated in rubles and 3.5% for contracts with foreign currency equivalent in U.S. dollars or Euros. Investment income is taken into account for the purposes of calculation of insurance compensation and cash surrender amounts under the contracts of individual and collective insurance.

"The insurance reserves of our clients are invested in compliance with the legislation of the Russian Federation and its requirements to diversification, recovery and yield on assets used to cover insurance reserves. The level of investment income on endowment insurance programs of Ingosstrakh Life is comparable to the yield of a deposit in a secure bank," Vladimir Chernikov, CEO of Ingosstrakh Life, says.
