OREANDA-NEWS.  June 27, 2014. Sberbank of Russia and Rostec State Corporation have signed a cooperation agreement, the purpose of which is to secure the parties' intentions to develop and expand the strategic partnership.

The document has been signed by Herman Gref, CEO and Chairman of the Management Board, Sberbank of Russia and Sergey Chemezov, CEO of Rostec.

"This agreement brings the cooperation between Sberbank and Rostec to a new level, - said Herman Gref. - We are proud of our partner relations with one of the leading Russian corporations and are convinced that the results of this partnership will be fruitful for both parties and for the Russian economy in general”.

"Following the 2013 results, the Corporation demonstrated steady revenue growth, which reached a record high of 1.038 trillion rubles, - said Sergey Chemezov. - In Sberbank of Russia we see a reliable partner for achieving the strategic goals of Rostec, financing for the projects and programs of the Corporation and our businesses and, improvement of our banking services”.

One of the main areas of cooperation between Sberbank and Rostec will be the development and application by the bank of standardized approaches in servicing the Corporation and its ventures. In addition, Sberbank will participate in the forming of the Common corporate treasury (CCT) for Rostec, including project implementation of the automated system CCT. Under this project, Sberbank will work with the venture companies of the Corporation on the technology of the unified channel of electronic exchange of payment documents ("Gateway").
