OREANDA-NEWS. JSC Aeroflot ("the Company", Moscow Exchange ticker: AFLT) sets in operation its 10th SSJ-100 in Full Specification thereby completing the transition of the fleet from 10 SSJ-100 "Light".

Sukhoi SuperJet 100 aircraft (registration number RA-89027) has been named in honour of Vasily Borisov, a prominent pilot, Hero of the USSR and veteran of World War II, who worked in the civil aviation more than 40 years.

The "Full" version features an improved flight management system (FMS) and weather radar with wind-shift detection capability. Moreover, the "Full" spec is providing additional video control cameras, separate lighting and air conditioning controls both for economy and business class and an additional working station for flight attendants. More comfort for passengers is guaranteed by individual gaspers over each seat. The aircraft is equipped with three lavatories with diaper boards, and each of three-seat-blocks in the cabin has an additional oxygen mask. There are four galleys with larger ovens, and an additional space to install a baby bassinet is added as well.

The aircraft was handed over to Aeroflot under the financial lease agreement with VEB-Leasing. The jet is designed in two-class composition with 12 seats in business class and 75 seats in economy class. Maximum flight range is 2.400 km.

Sukhoi Superjet 100 is a new generation regional jet designed, developed and manufactured by JSC "Sukhoi Civil Aircraft" with the participation of Alenia Aeronautica. In January 2011, the SSJ- 100 received its IAC AR certificate.

New aircraft form part of Aeroflot's strategy to expand its route network and strengthen its leadership in the domestic air transport market. SSJ-100 jets are an important part of Aeroflot's fleet, which is among Europe's most modern and technologically advanced. The total order for SSJ-100 stands at 30 aircraft.
