OREANDA-NEWS. Airport Tolmachevo JSC held its Annual Shareholders' Meeting whereat the attendees

approved the Annual Report for 2013, annual accounting reports and distribution of profits. Besides, some other resolutions were passed such as approval of the company's auditor for 2013, election of the Board of Directors and the Company's Audit Committee.

Following the results of 2013, Airport Tolmachevo JSC demonstrated sustainable growth of production

results. Compared to 2012, the passenger traffic growth rate amounted 14.7% as the overall passenger volume reached 3.7 mln people. Reportedly, the airport registered 41,676 aircraft movements (+12.4%). The total volume of cargo and mail handled in 2013 exceeded 29.9 thousand tons (+6.9%).

The substantial improvement of operating results could be heavily attributed to opening of the new flights and engagement of new partner-airlines. In 2013 several new routes from NOVOSIBIRSK International Airport were launched (Palma de Majorca, Shymkent, Kurgan Tyube,

Samara, etc.) as well as flight frequencies on the existing routes were added. As a part of the state subsidy programme implementation, the airport introduced some new regional flights to Novokuznetsk, Tomsk, Strezhevoy, Abakan, Kyzyl, Tyumen, Omsk, Gorno-Altaisk and other cities. Last year Novosibirsk airport succeeded in engagement having attracted such passenger and airfreight companies as Aurora, Donavia, East Air, Nordic Global Airlines, etc.

The operating revenue of the company in 2013 totalled 7.123 bln roubles which is a 4% gain compared to the year before. The net profit for the accounting period amounted 1.169 bln roubles, a 11.8% growth. Thanks to the strong profit result, the company will be able to start realization of such large-scale investment projects as modernization of the international passenger terminal and renewal of park of special equipment necessary to provide aircraft ground handling services as well as passengers, baggage and freight processing. The enterprise provides financial support for all investment projects from the airport's own funds - in order to reduce credit exposure the airport's business profits are maximally involved in repayment. On that basis, by the resolution of the shareholders' general meeting of Airport Tolmachevo JSC, net profits for the year 2013 will not to be

distributed but allocated for the capital budget financing.
