OREANDA-NEWS. Tajik Air airlines, the partner of NOVOSIBIRSK International Airport, introduced an additional flight frequency on the return route Novosibirsk - Dushanbe (Tajikistan), now operating up to two weekly flights. Starting from 24th June, flights on this route are performed not only on Saturdays but each Tuesday as well.

Departure time of Flight 7J 4864 from Novosibirsk is 16:00, Flight 7J 4863 from Dushanbe - 09:00 (local time). Flights are performed on Boeing 737-300 and Boeing 737-400 aircraft.

NOVOSIBIRSK International Airport is the largest air hub in Russia east of the Urals on major transit routes between Europe and Asia. The domestic terminal capacity makes up to 1,800 passengers per hour, while the capacity on international flights - up to 750 passengers per hour. The airport has two runways of ICAO CAT I and CAT II. In 2013 the passenger traffic exceeded 3.7 mln passengers and cargo traffic totalled 29.9 thousand tons of cargo and mail handled. In 2014 the airport expects to serve over 4.2 mln passengers and handle over 32 thousand tons of cargo and mail.
