OREANDA-NEWS. July 15, 2014. The largest low-cost airline in Central and Eastern Europe, Wizz Air, informed on the launch of the Chisinau - Milan Bergamo flight, due to be operated starting from 2 November. Initially, flights will be carried out twice a week on the concerned air route.

Milan Bergamo is already the third destination from Moldova, taking into account that Wizz Air has been a lready operating two flights each week from Chisinau to Rome Ciampino and Venice Treviso, starting from September 2013. Wizz Air considers that the new service will boost the job market in the field of aviation and tourism in Moldova.

According to a press release, the tickets for the Chisinau - Milan Bergamo flight are already available and may be booked on the www.wizzair.com site, with prices starting from about 40 euros.

Wizz Air Representative Daniel Carvalho said that "Wizz Air started operating flights from the capital of Moldova only nine months ago and has served 45,000 passengers within flights to Rome and Venice."
