OREANDA-NEWS. BUCE delegation led by Chairman of the Board Arkady Salikov held a number of business meetings in Moscow.

BUCE representatives held talks with Andrey Danilenko, head of the National Union of Milk Producers (Soyuzmoloko), in a bid to work out a common approach to the use of electronic exchange trade instruments when implementing Russia's dairy industry development program until 2020 and agree on the joint measures meant to bolster the exports of Belarusian dairy products to the Russian Federation.

Taking into account the agreements reached during previous meetings, an educational workshop for Russian companies (members of Soyuzmoloko) was held at BUCE's representative office in Moscow.

The participants of the workshop learned about BUCE's services and the procedure of accreditation at the agricultural products electronic platform. BUCE representatives presented a training program simulating the exchange trade process and arranged a training exercise designed to teach the basics of using AgriTrader software to buy and sell dairy products.

During the meetings with administrations of St.Petersburg International Mercantile Exchange (SPIMEX), Clearing Center of Moscow Stock Exchange and Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Russian Federation, BUCE delegation analyzed the first results of introduction of the futures contract for Regular-92 gasoline price index. The sides also reached a common ground regarding joint activities designed to intensify exchange trade in the Single Economic Space.

In addition, BUCE experts met with Sergey Lebedev, CIS Executive Secretary, to discuss the implementation of BUCE-initiated strategy of the exchange commodity market development within the Commonwealth of Independent States. In the course of the meeting, the parties came up with a set of measures that have the potential to bring closer the commodity markets of CIS members and thus boost the mutual trade.
