OREANDA-NEWS. On July 10 in Ekaterinburg as a part of the Innoprom industrial trade fair the winners of the yearly 'Best Russian Exporter 2013' competitions were awarded. Baltika Breweries was awarded the title of the 'Best Exporter of the Industry - food industry (alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks)'.

The competition is held by the RF Ministry of Industry and Trade in the various nominations. Baltika Breweries became the winner of the 'Best Russian Exporter' nomination in alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks nomination for the ninth time. The decision on winners was take according to the comparison of the participants' data on sales volumes, income, amount of the exportation countries and the width of the product range.

Baltika Breweries is the leading Russian beer exporter: the Baltika products are present in the more then 75 countries, while the company covers 70% of the Russian beer export. In 2013 Baltika widened the exportation geography to a several European, Asian and African countries. Baltika Breweries exports 30 beer brands and 9 non-beer brands. The key brand of the export portfolio is 'Baltika'. The foreign sales volume in 2013 amounted to 7,9% of the company's overall sales.

By coming into the new markets Baltika as a client-oriented company takes into account the cultural and behavioral traditions of the exportation countries. For instance Baltika was the only Russian brewing company to receive in 2013 the Halal certificate confirming the quality of goods for the Middle Eastern countries.

The company brands received more then 600 Russian and international awards confirming the high quality of the company's products.
