OREANDA-NEWS. At the coal mining enterprise Lean Six Sigma (LSS) program was quite successfully deployed four years ago. For this time over 60 company employees have taken the training on it for the levels of Green and Black Belts. This year 22 people started the training.

The essence of the program is to attract promising employees to efficient organization of business processes for account of quality improvement, cost reduction and creation of new opportunities. Simply speaking, in parallel with their training the program participants develop a project, the completion of which will bring financial benefit to the enterprise, on one hand, and on the other hand it will give the opportunity to get additional revenue to a project manager and members of a project team plus to their main wages depending on economic effects achieved.

More qualified a team is, higher the efficiency of the development is. In this connection, within the frames of LSS program this year the training of the main program participants started - Yellow Belts - process owners, chief specialists and economists of the enterprise. Currently the second wave of Lean Six Sigma participants are getting the training for Yellow Belt level. The first group completed the course in April this year and was certified.

Awarding the documents and special Lean Six Sigma badges General Director of the company, Victor Shchukin, underlined that among almost seven thousand employees of Bogatyr Coal LLP there were a lot of high-grade experts. Beside the fulfilment of their main duties they could make additional money for the participation in the system of continuous improvement of production processes. The management also expressed the hope that the majority of Bogatyr employees would go through Lean Six Sigma training in the nearest future.

- We will transform the work process to the maximum. There will be nothing unnecessary at the enterprise. Everything will be right on business.
