OREANDA-NEWS. The builders of SK MOST-Vostok LLC have commissioned a single-span bridge, located at the 40th kilometer of the Zeya - Tygda motorway.

Oleg Kozhemyako, Governor of the Amur Region, Sergey Sadovnikov, Minister of Transportation and Road Management, Andrey Sukhomesov, Head of the Zeya District Administration, and CEOs and officers of the company took part in the inauguration of the bridge.

This is the first major installation that was built after the last year's floods in the Amur Region. The reconstruction of the bridge should have been completed by the end of November 2013, but the elements moved the commissioning deadline to seven months later. The bridge, which had been there for 38 years, collapsed during a catastrophic overflow of the river that was always calm, and the builders could deploy operations only after the water level has dropped.

A long-term special program "Development of a Network of Public Roads of the Amur Region in 2010-2015" was launched in 2009. This program is focused on improving the road network, building new and refurbishing old bridges.
