OREANDA-NEWS. July 24, 2014. Ministry of Industry and New Technologies of Kazakhstan with the Committee for Technical Regulation and Metrology continues systematic work to reduce tariffs in the field of technical regulation within the Address of the President N.A. Nazarbayev "Social modernization of Kazakhstan: Twenty Steps to Universal Society of Labour".

Thus, RSE "KazInMetr" reduced prices for procedure of metrological materials examination to recognize the results of testing and approval of measuring instrumenttypes on a number of groups of measuring instruments used by population widely from April 1, 2014 to increase the volume of services and to create favourable conditions for development of small businesses.

Along with this, "National Centre for Accreditation" is considering the possibility of revising tariff value of accreditation services.

Although the price reduction is an important task in the way of reducing the burden for small and medium business segments, another priority for this direction is to simplify the procedures for issuance of documents.

In modern conditions the state motivates business and sets the bar for quality, level of technical requirements to technology, which should be guided in choosing enterprise solutions through technical regulation. Therefore, an online store is functioning at RSE "Kazakhstan Institute of Standardization and Certification" to expand opportunities of Internet technology, both in terms of informing citizens and permanent strengthening of "feedback" of the state and the population.

However, implementation of regulations through an online store, reduces not only the "path" to the necessary documents, but also the expenses "Users", as the cost of implementing regulations through the online store of the Unified State Fund is lower than paper cost regulation on an average for 63%.

It should be noted that the policy of reducing administrative barriers for business is one of the priorities of the Committee for Technical Regulation and Metrology.
