OREANDA-NEWS. Belarus' gross domestic product (GDP) grew by 1.2% on the year in January-June 2014 to 340.746 trillion Belarusian rubles (USD 33.21 billion at the central bank's exchange rate), an official with Belarus' National Statistics Committee told.

Industrial output in January-June 2014 decreased 1% on the year to Br326.045 trillion (USD 31.778 billion).

Farm output reduced 4.3% to Br37.355 trillion (USD 3.64 billion).

Belarus' government expects the GDP to expand 3.3% in 2014.

In 2013, Belarus' GDP grew 0.9% on the year to 636.8 trillion Belarusian rubles (USD 63.066 billion). The government had planned to see the GDP grow 8.5% in 2013.
