OREANDA-NEWS. July 31, 2014. Voluntary declaration of businesses on observance of job safety regulations has been launched in Kazakhstan. This was reported at the board held by the Ministry of Labour and Social Protection on the results of the 1st half of 2014.

"Voluntary declaration of businesses on observance of job safety regulations has been launched in Almaty, East Kazakhstan, Kyzylorda and Pavlodar regions starting from this year. 19 companies have already received "Certificate of Trust" and were exempt from routine inspections for 3 years," the Deputy Chairman of the Committee on control and social protection of the Ministry of Labour and Social Protection, chief state labour inspector Tolegen Ospankulov said.

In addition, the results of the "Employment Roadmap 2020" for the first half were presented at the board meeting. According to the Ministry of Labour and Social Protection, the program covered more than 326 thousand people from 2011 to July 2014.

The first direction of the program has been implemented successfully - providing employment through the development of infrastructure and housing and communal services - Akmola, Almaty and Karaganda regions and Almaty. Employment of citizens is carried out mainly for road repairs there.

"The main objective of the program is the involvement of the target population in productive employment. Funds allocated to regions under the "Employment Roadmap 2020" for 2015 will depend on the results of the current year. In case of improper execution of works to achieve the program, the Ministry of Labour will reconsider funding within "Employment Roadmap 2020", Minister of Labour and Social Protection Tamara Duissenova said during the meeting.
