OREANDA-NEWS. July 31, 2014. The Management Board of Russian Agricultural Bank (RusAg) has approved the Branch network development program through 2020.

The Program is targeted towards accomplishing a number of strategic tasks: ensuring efficient presence of RusAg in Russian regions with the network client service capacity matching the Bank’s business targets; increasing territorial coverage up to 90%; and enhancing efficiency of each point-of-sale.

The Bank plans to expand its branch network at a higher rate in cities and urban agglomerations, while maintaining leading positions in its priority segment – agribusiness and related sectors, and ensuring availability of quality banking services for businesses and population of rural areas and mid-sized towns.

Besides opening points-of-sale the Program stipulates upgrading existing offices according to the Bank’s new standards while increasing their efficiency. In regions RusAg will work through various office types, placing focus on mobile and self-service offices. Besides, the Bank will expand remote service channels.

“I believe that the implementation of the Branch network development program will allow to strengthen the Bank’s positions in all economic segments, including non-priority, as well as to maintain a balance of the state interests in the sphere of the country’s regional development”, Dmitry Patrushev, Chairman of the Board and CEO of Russian Agricultural Bank, said.
