OREANDA-NEWS. NTT Communications Corporation (NTT Com), the ICT solutions and international communications business within the NTT Group, announced that its webmail-based Enterprise Mail cloud service is now provided from a newly constructed platform in Singapore and available effective immediately in Singapore, Malaysia and Vietnam. Availability in other APAC markets, as well as launches the U.S. and Europe, are forthcoming.

The Singapore platform will ensure that NTT Com continues to offer highly reliable and competitively priced enterprise communication services for mail, scheduling, file sharing and more throughout the APAC region. In particular, the regionally centralized platform will assure that APAC enterprises enjoy low-latency, easy-to-use cloud mail functions even when viewing, editing or sharing large files.

The platform is built on NTT Com's highly reliable Enterprise Cloud service. Given Singapore's relatively low risk of natural disasters, companies in other areas of the APAC region are expected to incorporate Enterprise Mail in their disaster-recovery initiatives for strengthened business continuity.

Enterprise Mail is a webmail service that offers a unified global address book that can display multiple layers organized by country or domain. Data Federation, a new cloud communication infrastructure also available from July 30, enables unified management, sharing and updating of employees' contacts, address books and addresses. The information is linked for viewing on a global list or by layer, such as country, organization or other user-selected category.
