OREANDA-NEWS. Lenta, (LSE, MOEX: LNTA) one of the largest retail chains in Russia, is pleased to announce the opening of its first hypermarket in Sergiev Posad, its third hypermarket in the Moscow region.

The new store is a Lenta “supercompact” format hypermarket, and is located in “Capitol” shopping mall, at 85 Novouglichskoe highway, Sergiev Posad. The store has a total area of 7,266 sq.m. with 3,860 sq.m. of selling space and is open 24 hours a day, seven days a week. A broad product assortment of 17,200 SKUs has been selected specifically for residents of Sergiev Posad and includes Lenta's private label and federal product ranges alongside local produce. The store has 780 parking spaces and 27 cash registers. The property is leased by Lenta.

The opening of this hypermarket in Sergiev Posad brings the total number of Lenta stores to 84 hypermarkets in 49 cities across Russia and 15 supermarkets in the Moscow region.
