OREANDA-NEWS. EUROCEMENT group is constantly upgrading its enterprises in order to increase the quality of products, reduce energy consumption, improve the technological chain of production, and to protect the environment. In June 2014, the SAVINSKIY CEMENT PLANT purchased a new Japanese Hitachi ZX 650LC-3 hydraulic excavator for its quarry at the price of 16 million roubles.

Once commissioned, the new excavator will boost the supply of raw materials for production, which will help ensure the uninterrupted operation of clinker rotary kilns during the peak production season. This excavator has good manoeuvrability and meets all the requirements of occupational health and safety. The ergonomically designed and spacious cab with excellent visibility reduces operator fatigue and stress and provides increased comfort, being equipped with a multi-functional control monitor and an automatic air-conditioning system.

The excavator is equipped with an environmentally friendly, fuel-efficient motor manufactured by Isuzu, which meets the strict requirements of environmental standards for nonroad Tier 3 vehicles in the USA (EPA) and Stage 3 in the EU. The low-level noise design meets anticipated European noise regulations.

It is worth noting that the Hitachi ZX 650LC-3 excavator is highly agile, manoeuvrable, and stable, with a robust chassis, and a good balance between power and speed. This allows it to operate on complex terrains and in all weather conditions. The excavator is distinguished by its high productivity - it has a three cubic meter bucket - and works based on the backhoe principle, which facilitates not only high-performance loading of dumb trucks, but also working with cross-sectional ledges of rock mass, clay drainage channels, and other complex quarry operations.

It is worth noting that in 2013 EUROCEMENT group invested over 23 million roubles in the SAVINSKIY CEMENT PLANT. These funds have been used to implement a slew of large-scale projects.
