OREANDA-NEWS. August 12, 2014. The Federal Antimonopoly Service (FAS Russia) fined “Galopolimer Perm” OJSC and “Promyshlennaya Energetika” OJSC in total over 37.5 million RUB.

In March 2014, the Antimonopoly Service found that the companies violated Part 4 Article 11 of the Federal Law “On Protection of Competition” (concluding an anticompetitive agreement).

The FAS Commission established that actions of “Galopolimer Perm” OJSC, “Promyshlennaya Energetika” OJSC and “Permenergosbyt” OJSC restricted competition by reducing the volumes of paid capacity, as a result of which the costs of payments for electric power and capacity for other consumers in the Perm region increased.

Based on the decision, FAS initiated administrative cases against “Galopolimer Perm” OJSC and “Promyshlennaya Energetika” OJSC.

“Galopolimer Perm” OJSC was fined over 23.5 million RUB, and “Promyshlennaya Energetika” OJSC – around 14 million RUB.
