OREANDA-NEWS. On August 8, the Mozhayskoye overpass at the intersection of Kutuzovsky Prospekt and the Small Ring of Moscow Railway (Presnya - Kanatchikovo section), the Filevskaya line of Moscow Metro (Kutuzovskaya station) and the Third Ring Motor Road was commissioned. The reconstruction was carried out by Mostotrest.

The reconstruction of the overpass started in December 2012 and was completed ahead of schedule. Mostotrest specialists have been reconstructing the overpass over existing tracks of the Moscow metro and over the open-air metro station Kutuzovskaya without interrupting motor traffic on Kutuzovsky Prospekt and train traffic on the Filevskaya metro line. The overpass has been widened to 67.2 meters, and its length reached almost 76 meters.

Furthermore, on 8 August, traffic on the new exit flyover #5 of the reconstructed three-level interchange at the intersection of Mozhayskoye Highway and the Moscow Automobile Ring Road (MKAD) was launched. The new exit flyover will allow motorists to exit MKAD inner lanes to the center of Moscow.

A week earlier, Mostotrest completed the reconstruction of exits #7 and #10 from MKAD inner lanes to Mozhayskoye Highway (to the Moscow Region) and from Mozhayskoye Highway to MKAD inner lanes.

Mostotrest professionals are carrying out the construction of three more flyovers as part of a transport interchange with a total length of about 1.5 km and two overpasses with the length of 97 m each. Also, they are carrying out the construction of new and reconstruction of existing left-turn and right-turn exits, side passages, acceleration and deceleration lanes, resurfacing of utilities, construction of an elevated pedestrian crossing over MKAD and 2 underground pedestrian crossings under Mozhayskoye Highway in Moscow and in the Moscow region.

The project is being carried out as part of a public contract for the construction and reconstruction of a number of transport infrastructure facilities in Moscow, in particular, the development of transport links with the Skolkovo innovation center. The contract was signed by the Construction Department of the city of Moscow and Mostotrest in October 2012. It provides for the phased construction of facilities.
