In July of the last year the deflation was also registered, which made 1%, inflation in January-July 2013 amounted to 1.3%, and in the period from July 2012 to July 2013 - 4,3%. According to the NBS data, in July 2014, the average food prices decreased on average by 0.7% on the background of seasonal decline in food prices by 2.1%.

At the same time, prices for non-food goods remained at the same level, and tariffs for services rendered to population increased by 0.2%. According to official statistics, in July 2014 prices for stone fruits decreased by 29.1%, potatoes - by 27.3%, fresh vegetables - by 21.5%, including, tomatoes – by 48,6%, onions - by 36.6%, carrots - by 30.2%, cabbage - by 26.2%, peppers - 23.7%, cucumbers - by 17.5%, garlic by 16.1%, beet - by 5.6%.

Grapes prices fell by 7.7%, pome fruits - by 1.7%, milk - by 1.3%, wheat flour - by 0.8%, beef - by 0.7%. At the same time, in July, watermelons and melons prices increased by 41,7%, garden berries (raspberry, currant) - by 29.8%, eggs - by 6%, citrus - by 5.2%, sugar - by 1.2%, sausages of the highest category with a long shelf life – by 0.7%, cereals, sour cream, cream - 0.8%.

Among non-food products in July 2014 was registered growth of prices for refrigerators and freezers - by 1.2%, summer sandals for men - by 1.1%, coal by 0.9%, medicines - by 0.7%, sporting goods - by 0.6%, goods of household chemistry, hygienic means and cosmetics, cosmetic and perfumery articles - by 0,4%, conditioners by 0.3%, cigarettes - by 1.2%. At the same time, reduced prices for liquefied gas in cylinders, jackets, sweaters, dresses and skirts for women, jackets for children, men's and women's shoes, sandals for women and children, cars, phones, items for personal hygiene, flowers - from 0.1% to 5.6%.

Among services rendered in July 2014, there was registered an increase in the monthly average tariffs for tourist services abroad - by 9.8%, medical tests and physical therapy services to patients in hospitals - by 2.7% and 1.5%, respectively. The cost of food in canteens grew by 2.5%, services of personal hygiene - by 1.2%, hotel services - by 0.8%, the international railway passenger transportation - by 0.5%. At the same time, reduced rates for airfreight services - by 2.3%, fees for nursery and kindergarten for the rent of apartments decreased by 0.1% in both cases.
