OREANDA-NEWS. August 13, 2014. In particular, the reserve assets in securities made up some USD 1 billion 748.1 million. Deposits amounted to USD 927.5 million. USD 888.4 million of them were placed to banks headquartered beyond Moldova.

NBM’s gold reserves were valued at USD 3.09 million. In 2013 monetary reserves of the National Bank of Moldova increased by USD 305.6 million (12.2%) to its highest level ever of USD 2 billion 820.6 million.

In February they decreased USD 72.68 million, declining USD 12.86 million in March and growing USD 48.66 million in April. In May they again started shrinking and declined by USD 12.73 million.

In June and July the monetary reserves of NBM declined USD 22 million and USD 52.17 million respectively.
