OREANDA-NEWS. The contest of professional skills among young employees was completed at JSC TANECO. More than 140 representatives aged up to 33 years of blue-collar occupations competed for the "Best in Trade" title.

The contest was held for the second time this year and it was held on the main blue-collar job trades of the TANECO Complex: process installations operator, process pumps (compressors) operator, pumping (compressor) units operator, processing units repairman, instrumentation technician, instrumentation and automation repairman, loading operator, chemical analysis lab assistant, electrician for repair and maintenance of electrical equipment.

During the first phase of the contest, the theoretical knowledge of the participants in the field of professional activity, labor protection, on general issues of the integrated management system and organization of labor was assessed. This phase was organized in the form of testing. Within 30 minutes, the participants were to answer 30 questions with 1 point awarded for each correct answer. The second phase included practical execution of assignment within the stipulated time. Allotting the evaluation marks the jury took into account the time spent on the job, as well as the accuracy, safety and quality of the work performed.

In the end, the following contestants were recognized the winners: Almaz Badortinov among the process installation operators, Damir Rakhmatov among the process pumping units (compressors) operators, Ildar Muratov among the process plant repair locksmiths, Ilnaz Sabirov among the process units (static equipment) repairmen. Alexander Fakeev was the best among the instrumentation and automation operators, Dinar Shigapov - among the loading operators, Andrey Potokin - among the electricians for repair and maintenance of electrical equipment and Margarita Fokeeva among chemical analysis lab assistants.

All the contest participants were awarded the Certificate of Merit of the enterprise, distinction badges "Best in Trade" and a memorable souvenir.

The objectives of the event include increasing the professionalism of workers, and the prestige of working professions in the oil refining industry. One of the important tasks is unleashing the potential of young workers.
