OREANDA-NEWS. Trubodetal factory (Trubodetal Open Joint Stock Company, based in Chelyabinsk, part of United Metallurgical Company, OMK CJSC, Moscow) has launched a wide-scale project to set up a united electronic archive. The data storage will unite several thousand documents that pass though the factory's structural divisions.

The new archive will considerably speed up the working process and will facilitate the search for required information. Each document that passes through the factory's divisions will enter into the ECM Saperion corporate information content management system. Also as part of the project, Trubodetal will optimize the conditions for storing documents at the paper archive. All the documents will be kept in a single storage facility and not in their respective divisions. A separate modular building, which will house the united paper archive, will be constructed on the factory's territory.

“An electronic document archive is what any modern company needs today,” says Nikolai Yakovlev, Director for Human Resources, Public Relations and General Issues at Trubodetal. “The project will be finalized in May of 2016. We are currently estimating the dimensions of the new archive building and are buying modern technical equipment - scanners, network storage, and software that will be key to the new system.”
