OREANDA-NEWS. August 25, 2014. The Research Report of 2014 "China's Top 500 Machinery Manufacturers" was released in Beijing. GWM was ranked 26th with a score of 94.39 points, moving three places up from last year.

This is the 11th consecutive year that GWM has made the list.

Organized by the China Machinery Enterprise Management Association, undertaken by the Research Institute of Machinery Industry Economics & Management and World Executive Group (icxo.com), the Research Report of 2014 "China's Top 500 Manufacturers" comprehensively analyzes and studies corporate data such as sales revenues, total profit, return on assets and growth rate based on the model of Competitiveness Value Added (CVA) designed by World Executive Group according to the international practices, and factors such as industrial difference and media index.

Automakers performed strongly in the evaluation, 112 automakers made the list, SAIC, FAW and Dongfeng made a clean sweep of the top three, and SAIC topped the list with 98.58 points. In 2013, GWM registered sales of 754,200 units and operating revenues of 56.784 billion yuan, up 21 percent and 31.57 percent year on year respectively, thus rendering a bumper harvest in sales and business performance.

The added value of China's machinery industry in 2013 was reportedly up 10.9 percent from last year, 1.2 percent above the average growth rate of China's industry in the same period. There were 127 enterprises with sales revenues of over 10 billion yuan each, which made positive contributions to achieving the overall goal of improving China's industry while maintaining its stability.
