OREANDA-NEWS. Lenta, (LSE, MOEX: LNTA) one of the largest retail chains in Russia, is pleased to announce the opening of a new hypermarket in Moscow's Brateevo district. This is Lenta's first hypermarket in Moscow City and fourth in the Moscow Region.

The new store is a Lenta “super-compact” format hypermarket located in the Brateevo district's “Bravo” shopping mall at 26 bldg 2 Borisovkiye Prudi Street. The store has a total area of 5,170 sq.m, with 2,600 sq.m. of selling space and is open from 9 am to 10 pm, seven days a week. A broad product assortment of 12,100 SKUs has been selected specifically for residents of Brateevo and includes Lenta's private label and federal product ranges alongside local produce. The store has 204 parking spaces and 24 cash registers. The property is leased by Lenta.

The opening of this hypermarket in Brateevo brings the total number of Lenta stores to 87 hypermarkets in 50 cities across Russia and 15 supermarkets in the Moscow region.
