OREANDA-NEWS. How to improve the quality of products, how to decrease cost loading when delivered foreign equipment, how to upgrade equipment and production, how to build up a supply chain of raw materials - these and other issues will be discussed at the conference on the Latest Technologies and Equipment for Fruit and Vegetable Processing. It will run on October, 7 at Expocentre Fairgrounds as part of the programme of accompanying events of the 19th edition of the Agroprodmash International Exhibition (6-10 October 2014).

The participants in the conference will be fruit and vegetable processing companies, suppliers of equipment for handling raw materials; storing, processing and packaging equipment, and producers of fruit and vegetables. Leading industry experts will provide up-to-date information on the current state of Russia's fruit and vegetable market and its future development. They will speak on high technologies in storage, cooling, preservation of quality of fruit and vegetables taking into account the best practices of their application in the processing industry.

According to many specialists, the canned products market in Russia has wide opportunities for growth, especially in the conditions of responsive measures introduced against anti-Russian sanctions on the part of the West. New opportunities will be open to domestic manufacturers. Besides, the demand for canned fruit and vegetables increases every year. It is caused by urbanization, increasing pace of life, and promotion of healthy lifestyle.

Organizers of the conference are positive that it will attract great interest among the industry professionals and become a key event at the Agroprodmash 2014 Exhibition. The conference will give rise to the Russian fruit and vegetable market.

Agroprodmash is Russia's main exhibition for machinery, equipment and ingredients for the food processing industry. Last year 803 companies from 36 countries, including 476 Russian companies, took part in the trade show. The number of visitors amounted to 18,780 people, 97% of them were industry specialists. The total exhibition attendance made up 25,120.
