OREANDA-NEWS. Belarus' gross domestic product (GDP) grew by 1.6% on the year in January-July 2014 to 413.887 trillion Belarusian rubles (USD 39.874 billion at the central bank's exchange rate), an official with Belarus' National Statistics Committee told.

Industrial output in January-July 2014 decreased 0.6% on the year to Br383.1 trillion (USD 36.91 billion).

Farm output grew 7.8% to Br58.12 trillion (USD 5.6 billion).

Belarus' government expects the GDP to expand 3.3% in 2014.

In 2013, Belarus' GDP grew 0.9% on the year to 636.8 trillion Belarusian rubles (USD 63.066 billion). The government had planned to see the GDP grow 8.5% in 2013.
