ALTEL, the affiliated Kazakhtelecom JSC company that provides mobile communication services from 1994 on territory of Republic of Kazakhstan, extends coverage zone by launching 4G data transfer network in Pavlodar, Petropavlovsk, Kostanay, Uralsk, Taldykorgan and Kokshetau.

New Altel network allows using mobile Internet access with speed to 100 Mbit/sec, that in 5-7 times quicker than previous generation networks. "With 4G networks in six large cities innovation 4G telecommunication services became more available to over 6 million citizens", - noted Maksut Sauranbekov, Chairman of the Board of ALTEL JSC.

Thanks to gradual increase of information transfer speed in LTE network, ALTEL subscribers get new multi media services, including video and music content in high quality, multi users games, monitoring systems, video conferencing, interactive on-line applications and others.

By words of Irina Savina, Commercial director of ALTEL JSC, an individual approach to each client was built. "In our Sales and service centers JET users can exchange its devices to analogous 4G devices. For our new subscribers we also prepared special proposals. Thus, for instance, for 4 900 tenge you can buy 4G USB-modem and get 99 Gb internet traffic on 4G speeds as gift", - underlined Irina Savina.

LTE network was launched in Kazakhstan in a range of 1800 MHz in Astana and Almaty on 25 December 2012 within execution of errand of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan and realization of Program of strategic development of broadband data transfer. In December 2013 the network appeared in Aktau, Aktobe, Atyrau, Yessik, Kapchagay, Karaganda, Kaskelen, Ust-Kamenogorsk, Shchyuchinsk, Shymkent, Talgar, in July 2014 in Taraz and Kyzylorda. On 15 May 2014 ALTEL launched the first in Kazakhstan multi technological network 4G/3G/2G in Almaty, Astana, Karaganda, Aktobe, Atyrau, Aktau, Shymkent and Ust-Kamenogorsk. Launching of innovation network with voice calls functions support in Pavlodar, Petropavlovsk, Kostanay, Uralsk, Taldykorgan and Kokshetau was planned to third quarter, and till the end of 2014 2014 in cities with population over 50 thousand persons.

LTE networks launched in over 100 countries, total number of LTE users in the world composes about 135 millions, the key share of which in USA, South Korea and Japan.
