OREANDA-NEWS. September 03, 2014. The index grew thanks to the contribution of the informal sector, whose share increased 1.2 p.p. from 5.3% in January –March 2013 to 6.5% in the like period of this year, NBS says.

The share of the formal sector shrank 0.8 p.p. from 10.5% to 9.7%. The share of the output households produced for their own needs increased 1.1 p.p. from 6.5% to 7.6%.

As it was said earlier, in Q1 2014 Moldova’s GDP amounted to MDL 21 billion 469 million, up 3.6% against the same period of the past year.
