In 2013, investments in the construction works amounted to 9 billion 467,8 million lei, which is 0.5% less than the year before, while, previously it was announced about the investment in the construction works in the amount of 9 billion 692,3 million lei and growth of 1.6%.

These investments amounted to 50.8% of the total volume (previously announced 52,5%). Investment in equipment and machinery, vehicles in 2013, according to the revised data, amounted to 8 billion 016,3 million lei instead of announced before 7 billion 870,4 million lei, increasing in comparison with 2012 by 2.4% but not 4%, and accounting for 43% of the total investment in long-term tangible assets in the past year, instead of 42.6%.

The NBS noted that the main sources of financing of investment activity in 2013 remained the own funds of economic entities and population, and, according to the revised data, economic agents and individuals of the private sector in 2013, the companies had mastered 11 billion 044 million lei of investments (59,3% of their total volume), as compared to 2012 and their volume decreased by 1.4%.

Earlier it was reported that these investments amounted to 10 billion 966 million lei (59.4% of the total), and in comparison with the previous year, their volume in 2013 did not increase. Budget investment in 2013 amounted to 2 billion 120.2 million lei (instead of 2 billion 109.6 million lei), accounting for 11.4% of the total thus increasing by 13.5% and not by 12.4%. Foreign investments amounted to USD 1 billion 404,3 million, decreasing by 2.7%, while their share made up 7.5% of the total.

Earlier it was reported that foreign investment in tangible fixed assets amounted to 1 billion 436,7 million lei, increasing by 0.8%, and their share amounted to 7.8% of the total. According to the revised data, economic agents and individuals of the private sector in 2013, the company had mastered 9 billion 098,2 million lei of investments (48.8% of their total volume), and as compared to 2012, they increased by 2.5%. Earlier it was reported that the amount of their investments amounted to 8 billion 7692 million lei (47.5% of their total volume), and increased by 3.4%. The share of state-owned enterprises accounted for 32.9% of the total amount of investment in the long-term tangible assets.
