OREANDA-NEWS. CROC has proven once again that its technical support services meet ISO/IEC 20000-1:2011 requirements. In addition, following the results of an audit by the British Standards Institution (BSI), for the first time in its history CROC has obtained certification for its services provided through outsourcing data centers in its office.

"CROC has held ISO/IEC 20000 certification since 2006. Initially, our IT services for internal divisions and customer technical support services were certified, with CROC's Helpdesk being responsible for both of these business lines. However, this year certification was extended to include our Service Center and data center outsourcing services," says Georgy Ovanesyan, Head of ITIL/ITSM Consulting and IT Monitoring and Management Practices, CROC.

"We lease data center capacity to our customers for the hosting of sensitive services such as accounting record archives, e-commerce services, and client systems. Of course, we need to provide high quality and reliability and our commitment to meeting our customers' expectations is now supported by the unbiased opinion of one of the world's most reputable audit firms," says Ruslan Zaedinov, Deputy Director General and Head of Data Centers and Cloud Computing, CROC.

"Over the years, CROC has formed an IT service delivery culture that conforms to international standards - a fact confirmed by the certificate issued by BSI, one of the global leaders in management system certification. Although a certification audit itself takes 3-4 days, we start preparing for the next year's audit immediately after the previous one is completed and focus on correcting deficiencies, analyzing IT processes, and improving the overall performance of our IT service management system (ITSM). This year, we had even more work to do and thus spent about six months preparing for certification. However, this is very little time given the largely expanded ITSMS application scope," added Elena Bakanova, Head of Quality Assurance, CROC.

"For major Russian companies, certification of compliance with international standards has become a routine process, especially when cooperating closely with transnational partners and customers. For customers, certification from leading international certification authorities is a key criterion when selecting contractors," says Valery Girko, Lead Auditor at BSI.
