OREANDA-NEWS. September 17, 2014. Supported by Vyksa Steel Works, the first corporate media forum, “Silver Threads – Volga Area 2014,” took place in Vyksa (Nizhny Novgorod region).

It was part of the International Business Summit, which was held in Nizhny Novgorod at the initiative of the government of the Nizhny Novgorod region.

The aim of the forum was for corporate media companies to share with one another their expertise in developing communication among staff and clients. Over 50 representatives from corporate media and factory PR services from different regions of Russia and from abroad took part in the forum. Sergey Filippov, VSW Executive Director, addressing the guests, spoke about the factory’s production system concept. Rishat Valitov, VSW HR Director, spoke about staff training and educational programs currently available at the factory.  Alexander Kastravets, OMK PR Director, elaborated on the company’s experience in developing corporate communication.
   
The forum’s participants visited VSW’s production line, which is the biggest producer of large diameter pipes for major pipelines in Russia. They also toured the factory’s history museum, as well as art sites which were created during the “Art-Ovrag” international new city culture festival.  “Art-Ovrag” is held annually in Vyksa through generous support from OMK, the OMK-Uchastie Charity Fund, and the administration of Vyksa.
