OREANDA-NEWS. September 19, 2014. MERLION, the largest Russian full-range distributor, and DKC, the leading inland manufacturer of cable management systems and distribution board equipment, have signed a Distribution Agreement.

DKC started its business in 1998 from the production of goffered plastic tubes. At the present time the company's product range includes more than 26,000 components and accessories combined into six main groups: cable ducts, plastic tubes, metal trays, distribution board equipment, air-conditioning system and lightning protection and earthing.

The products of the Russian company favorably compete with well-known foreign brands not only in Russia but also abroad, which is evidenced by the fact that DKC participates in many large-scale projects from the Kremlin restoration and the construction venues for the Olympics in Sochi to modernization of the Swiss underground in Lausanne and the Orio al Serio airport in Italy.

"For MERLION its cooperation with DKC means an additional opportunity for swift delivery of the widest range of world-class electrical products to our partners", Igor Solntsev, MERLION Director of Distribution commented on the event. "As for the DKC brand awareness and image, the names of customers and geography of their locations speak for themselves. We are proud that producers of such level appear in Russia and we hope that domestic products will capture the even broader market through our distribution channel".

"Direct interaction with the largest Russian full-range distributor, that is MERLION, gives us a perfect opportunity for entering a niche new for us – the IT-market", said DKC Director of Marketing Dmitry Abramov. "Much depends here on success of project business, whereby the qualification of MERLION partners, which are the leading system integrators, together with the quality of our products let us speak about the possibility of implementation of the most large-scaled and technology intensive projects both within and beyond Russia".
